Context
Bwsala connects companies in Saudi Arabia with candidates and staffing vendors. Recruiters post jobs, vendors submit candidates, and everyone tracks the process through interviews to a hire. Much of the business ran in Zoho, so the platform had to fit around it.
What I built
Over eight months (455 commits) I worked across most of the product:
- Candidate and vendor workflows. Job posting, candidate submission and comparison, and the vendor side of the pipeline, end to end.
- Resume parsing. Upload a CV and get structured candidate data instead of typing it in.
- Arabic and English. Full localisation with i18next and right-to-left layouts, so the product works the same in both languages.
- Business modules. Deals, estimates and invoices on top of the Zoho integration, plus reporting dashboards.
- Sign-in options for the Saudi market alongside Google and LinkedIn.
Decisions worth noting
- RTL as a layout mode, not a translation. Direction-aware spacing and icons from the start, so Arabic isn’t a mirrored afterthought.
- Work with Zoho, not around it. Using the CRM the business already ran on kept the platform and the sales team in sync.
